Experience Level - this is an introductory class with no prior experience needed. After completing this workshop, people have the knowledge to join our Tuesday drop-in sessions and continue creating with glass.
 
Tuition: $60
Materials Fee: $10 payable to the instructor at the beginning of the class
 
Glass Safety
 
In this fun one day workshop students will receive an introduction to the process of making a stained glass piece.  Students will choose from several simple patterns we provide. Each student will engage in the process of cutting out the pattern, cutting the glass, assembling the piece, soldering, and finishing with beaded embellishments and charms. At the end of the workshop each person will leave with an adorable heart shaped sun catcher.
 
Project supplies and use of specialty glass tools and equipment  are included in the materials fee. 
 
Student to bring:
Safety glasses
Apron (optional)
Bag lunch and Beverages
Hammer
Scissors
If you don't have a hammer or scissors you don't need to buy them, we have a few available to borrow.
