Photography Policies

 

  1. Entry into Scarab Creative Arts and participation in any class, workshop, or event constitutes permission for the management of Scarab Creative Arts to photograph anyone while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without compensation to the individual.

  2. Students and guests my request to be exempted from the photography policy. Please submit the request in an email, using the form below:  "Questions? We're here to help."

  3. We may be able to remove your image from advertising if you don't want it used but you neglected to make the request in advance. Please submit the written request using the email form below: "Questions? We're here to help." Your request must be specific and complete - include a screen shot, reference to the page, and/or whatever it takes for the matter to be addressed without necessitating additional dialog.

Health and Safety:

  1. Classes are still limited in size to provide comfort for those who are reluctant to be in larger groups.

  2. Students who are sick should not attend a class.

  3. Safety policies are provided at the onset of each class.

Class Policies

  1. Students reserve their spot in class by registering and prepaying, using the "more information" link in each class listing. 

  2. Classes will start on time. Please arrive 10 minutes early to be seated and ready to begin.

  3. Pricing, dates, and times are subject to change.

  4. Students must adhere to the health safety guidelines to remain in the classroom. 

Cancellation Policies

Scarab Cancellation

Scarab reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment. If a class is cancelled participants will be notified a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Students will be given the option of rescheduling at a later date or receiving a full refund.

Student Cancellation

  1. Students may cancel up to 7 days in advance to receive a refund, which will be given as a credit towards another class. A $25 cancellation fee will be charged. Instructors plan and purchase supplies well in advance of their classes.

  2. There is no credit given for a student cancelling within 48 hours of a class. 

Rights to deny service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, without declaring a reason.
