Fused Glass Christmas Workshop

Materials: $25 per tree/gnome Payable to the instructor at the beginning of the class
 
18 students maximum
 
In this half day workshop students will receive an introduction to the process of fusing glass. Students will make either a tree(s) or a gnome(s)/Santa(s). Each student will engage in the process of assembling the elements to create individual works of seasonal decorative art. The focus of the class is to have fun being creative, however an introduction to the process and science of fusing glass will be given, with handouts provided. All materials and tools are supplied.
 
The pieces will stay at the studio to be fired. Students can either return later (about a week) to pick up their finished, fired art or join us in a subsequent workshop to put the glass art into a fun tabletop diorama. 
 
Student are to bring:
Safety glasses
